One of the major benefits of saying “I do” in this petite city where centuries of culture abounds is walkability. The weekend experience extends beyond the wedding day with limitless itinerary possibilities that can be accessed with or without a car. Award-winning restaurants featuring upscale Southern fare + international fusion dishes, high end shopping, local vendor boutiques, world-class art galleries, scenic walks along the waterfront, street performers, luxury spas (and even rickshaws + pretty blue bikes for when the feet do need propping) are scattered throughout downtown. Located about 20 minutes from 2 different white sand beaches - Sullivan’s Island and Folly Beach - this port town has something for everyone.
Out of town guests can arrive easily by car or via Charleston International Airport, just 15 minutes from downtown and offering direct flights between Charleston and London these days! It couldn’t be easier to provide a seamless experience for your guests, and trust us, they’ll want to stay forever.
Perhaps you’ve been dreaming of a wedding with Southern charm for years now. Or perhaps you’re now over the moon about the endless advantages this city offers. Either way, we’d love to learn about your story and share more about becoming a W&O couple. Drop us a line here to get started today!

Our Southern roots brought us to the heart of Lowcountry several years ago. Today we serve proudly serve weddings in Charleston, Kiawah Island, Savannah, the Carolinas and beyond. Let’s face it, travel is our middle name! The Southern wedding community here is a tight knit group, and we are fortunate to collaborate with some of the most innovative wedding vendors across the industry as we develop meaningful relationships with each couple to tell their story.
You’ll find us amidst oyster bars and sailboats, as well as live oaks and jazz bands on the reg. It’s all a part of that Southern charm! Between the 18th century Charleston singles and some of the oldest landscaped gardens in America (not to mention the annual mac n cheese festival), there’s a reason couples are flocking to The Holy City every year.
We specialize in full-service event design as we work with couples to source the perfect vendor team for them from a sea of many, help them create a budget that prioritizes their needs, stylize wedding details that authentically document their own stories, personalities and family traditions, and provide an unforgettable wedding experience their loved ones will remember forever. We're also offering micro weddings for couples wanting a more intimate day.
I'm Haley - a nomadic soul with a passion equally as strong for Southern traditions, family heirlooms and the Tom Hanks + Meg Ryan kind of love stories. Over the last decade, my insatiable desire to experience the world and all its beautiful cultures has allowed me to cultivate a life enriched with art, history, landscapes, language and lots of delectable food. Challenging myself to thrive in every destination from Alabama and Orlando to London and Italy, and now Charleston where I reside, has resulted in the most formative opportunities that led me to where I am today.
Willow & Oak was born as a culmination of my passion for storytelling + exquisite beauty and years of industry experience with a high end wedding planning firm, a Fortune 500 event company and an acclaimed international wedding publication. Combined with a serendipitous friendship that blossomed following my first experience living internationally, of course!
My current inspirations include Victorian era Staffordshire terriers, chinoiserie patterns, velvet upholstery and coffee table books about Provence. And today I’m blessed with a job that allows me to form new relationships, tell visual + experiential stories and introduce creative ideas that might never have been considered before. I adore guiding my couples towards design details with distinction and seeing those moments of pure, uninhibited joy throughout the wedding day when those moments we’ve planned together throughout the year finally become a reality. Without a doubt, these are my happiest moments too!
