We decided that we wanted to pool our talents and work together on something that makes people truly happy and for us, that's Willow & Oak. We have two studios, one based in Charleston, South Carolina and serving weddings in the United States, the other based in London, England focussing on designing and planning weddings in the UK, France and Italy.
Now that you know a bit about us, get in touch and tell us about your story!
Three of us make up Willow & Oak; Haley, Alexis and Ben. Originally from the States, Alexis and Haley were studying in Rome and met Ben (who is British) by chance while exploring the city. Four years, thousands of miles and dozens of flights later and Alexis and Ben are married and Haley and Alexis are best friends; a life-changing trip for all of us!
Haley and Alexis both have a history of working in weddings, Haley at a world-renowned wedding blog and some of the biggest planners in the US, Alexis with a wedding planner, a bridal boutique and most recently one of the UK's most prestigious wedding venues. Ben has planned events for many years for businesses such as Sony Music and Samsung.
ALEXIS: My heart is fullest when connecting with others and traveling. Give me a village in the South of France, with a market, fresh flowers and a dog by my side! When not working, I can't resist a gorgeous brunch spot with a flat white, browsing interior designers on Pinterest (especially bookshelf art) and trying to convince my hubby that we need the whole Anthropologie home section.
HALEY: traveling to new places (I’ve lived in both Italy + England, so let’s talk Europe!), fresh peonies, Mumford + Sons, pinot noir, hand-painted ceramics, Harry Potter marathons, blue + white plates, Chipotle, doggos (but especially sheepadoodles), Anthro candles, banjos, Geechie Boy Grits, and binge-watching Friends
BEN: I love motorsport, doing trackdays with my brothers, music and the guitar. I also love skiing and am desperate to go again soon, and a US road trip is also high up on my to-do list. An evening in with a good film is also always welcome!
